This is one of my favourite things to buy from the filipino grocery store.

The bread is succulent, sweet and never enough, you want more!!

Bread dough

1 cup lukewarm milk [240 ml]

2 egg ( one for egg wash)

2 tsp instant yeast

3 cups all purpose flour

1/3 cup white sugar

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 cup veg. oil


Filling

50 grams butter / margarine

2 cups flaked or desiccated coconut

1/4 of packed brown sugar

1tsp honey

½ tsp vanilla


Proofing time: 2hrs in total

Baking time: 18-25 mins @ 350F
